Chennai: The Election Commission has issued notice to Tamil Nadu government and AIADMK seeking clarification on the number of government vehicles which had accompanied Jayalalithaa during her campaign in Krishnagiri on May 1 and 2. CEO Naresh Gupta said the EC has sought clarification from the Chief Secretary and the AIADMK who organised the campaign, he said.
