CHENNAI: "It is to give the Tamil people an alternative to the make-believe politics of the Dravidian movement that the Janata Party-the BJP alliance has been formed," Janata party president Subramanian Swamy said on Monday.
"The JP-BJP MLAs, if voted, will change the culture of politics in Tamil Nadu and bring back honesty to public affairs," he said in a release here. The Janata party had demonstrated what it could do for the people, as in the Mullai Periyar issue, the High Court Bench in Madurai, and the installation of Mithuramalingan Thevar’s statue.
