TIRUPATI: The row between the Ministry of Railways and the local Idgah Committee over the title deeds of the Idgah grounds here took a curious turn with Muslims taking out a rally through the main streets of Tirupati on Monday.

The rallyists under the banner of the Muslim Idgah Managing Committee demanded that the Government intervene to end the impasse.

They converged at the office of the revenue Divisional Officer here and held demonstrations before presenting a memorandum to the officer demanding an early solution to what the called the ’vexed’ issue.
