MUZAFFARNAGAR: Muslim women should not contest elections and, if they have to, they should do it with the veil on, says a fatwa issued by the Darool Uloom of Deoband on Tuesday. It said those contesting panchayat elections should cover their faces. This evoked a sharp reaction from political parties.
