UPA’s "mega-appeasement policies" would divide society: Naqvi
Government should bring socially backward sections into mainstream Policy of reservation makes "creamy layer creamier" CBI should register case against Natwar Singh
NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Saturday described the Government’s move to reserve seats for Other Backward Classes in central educational institutions, such as IITs and IIMs, as a "cheap political stunt" aimed at diverting attention from his party’s Bharat Suraksha Yatra.
In a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, he criticised the "mega-appeasement policies" of the UPA and said India’s talent bank should not be sacrificed for vote-bank politics.
