Prayers for Mulayam’s health

Lucknow: Over 100 priests on Saturday performed special prayers in Lucknow near Vidhan Bhavan for the health of Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav.

The `yagna’ was organised by the Prajapati Samaj led by Chairman of the Nagrik Parishad Dayaram Prajapati, who was recently inducted into the Cabinet.

``This `jaap’ is being performed for the good health and long life of the Chief Minister and would also be held at other places in the State soon,’’ Prajapati said adding Mr. Yadav had not been keeping well recently.

The Chief Minister was not present on the occasion. A similar `yagna’ was performed in Saifai, the native village of Mr. Yadav in Etawah earlier this week in which the Chief Minister had himself taken part.
