"Isn’t my dream coming true?" quipped Yadav, who recently remarked he would play the role of a Queen-maker, here on Sunday night.
He was responding to a query from reporters after attending a meeting of alliance partners where Gandhi was elected coalition leader.
The former Bihar chief minister said that he would have a role in the new government and his state’s needs would be taken care of.
Yadav said that after all alliance partners extended their support to the Congress president and the Gazette notification declaring elections closed was issued, Gandhi would stake claim to form government.
Asked about the role of the Samajwadi Party, of which he has been critical, the RJD leader said SP had said it would do what the Left decided.
